Aaron Forbes joined MarshBerry in December of 2021. As a Regional Sales Director for FirstChoice – A MarshBerry Company, Aaron’s primary responsibility is to help firms create and engage in valuable carrier partnerships and strategic plans to increase revenue and profitability. By utilizing both carrier and agency experience his broad background allows him to be a strong advocate for agency partnerships and helping them achieve their goals.
Prior to joining MarshBerry, Aaron was with The Buren Insurance Group for eight years, working in a variety of different roles and eventually becoming a minority owner. In his role, he oversaw the Commercial and Benefits sales divisions as well as marketing and automation of the agency. Additionally, Buren Insurance Group joined MarshBerry’s Connect, executive peer exchange, and charted a path for growth and change during Aaron’s tenure. While at the agency, he helped found and start Secured Advantage, an Ohio-based agency network working with agencies and core carriers to protect and grow those books of business.
Prior to his agency life, Aaron began his career at Nationwide Insurance, helping grow the On Your Side Center model throughout the country. Following Nationwide, he joined Grange Life wholesaling their product line to agencies across Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Illinois.
Aaron graduated from The Ohio State University in 2009 and received his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2019. He currently resides in Ashland, OH with his wife and three daughters.
