Diane is a lifelong advocate of the independent agency system helping agency owners realize their true potential and value through strategic planning and coaching.

As Vice President of Education & Strategic Planning for FirstChoice, a MarshBerry Company, Diane is committed to helping members build strategic plans for their agencies and set goals for future growth. She believes setting effective plans is life altering relative to experience and value and loves helping agency owners get clarity around what goals they want to achieve. Diane is skilled in helping agency owners work on the business and believes every interaction with agency owners and staff should be focused around increasing agency value.

History and Credentials
Diane spent the first 20 years of her career on the carrier side working for a number of insurance companies in various underwriting and marketing roles. Diane transitioned to a role as a Regional Vice President for SIAA in 2001 before starting a Growth Coach franchise in 2013. She joined First Choice Agents Alliance (FCAA) in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer and successfully led the transition of FCAA from a wholesale MGA in 2015 to the sixth largest network in the country in 2021.

Accomplishments and Projects
Continuing to expand on her expertise in the industry, Diane sits on the board of Invest, a nonprofit arm of the Independent Insurance Association that educates students on insurance, financial services and risk management while encouraging them to pursue insurance careers. Introducing insurance as a career to young people, and helping agencies build effective talent pipelines, is Diane’s passion project. In addition to her industry accomplishments, Diane has also presented at the Insurance Networks Alliance annual meeting and has been quoted in several industry-related publications.

Diane travels extensively with her significant other, enjoys concerts and golf, and loves spending time with her adult children.
