Jeff Pireu
Jeff Pireu joined FirstChoice, a MarshBerry Company, in March 2023. He is an accomplished executive sales leader with over 25 years of experience in Fortune 100 company sales, training and development, and claims.
In his role, Jeff is responsible for the development and execution of the Strategic Partnership Strategy which drives value to both FirstChoice members and strategic partners. Jeff also works with national partner firms to help them maximize revenue and exceed goals by assisting with strategic planning, carrier partnerships, and creating mutually beneficial sales solutions.
Prior to FirstChoice, Jeff worked at Nationwide where he was the Associate Vice President of Sales for the Mid-Atlantic Region. In this role, he was charged with P&L responsibility and focused on distribution growth, sales leader development, and employee engagement. In addition to various sales, operations, and claims leadership roles, he also led the Nationwide Sales Academy which drove innovative training and development for the organization’s agents and sales leaders across the U.S.
Prior to Nationwide, Jeff was Vice President of Partnerships at Edge. In this role, he was responsible for building the partnership strategy program where he connected U.S. organizations with high-quality global talent.
Jeff earned numerous accomplishments including conference awards and National Sales Director of Year Awards during his career at Nationwide. He holds his CIC, CRM, CLCS, PLCS, and RCC designations along with his P&C license and L&H license. In addition, he currently maintains the Series 6, 26, and 63 FINRA Registrations.
Jeff received a bachelor’s in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA in Marketing from Franklin University. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing pickleball, and is an avid Ohio State football, Cleveland Browns, and Columbus Blue Jackets hockey fan!
