As part of MarshBerry’s Financial Advisory team, Peter Kampf focuses on managing sell side transactions, due diligence projects, acquisition analysis and valuations. During his tenure at MarshBerry, he has advised on several large insurance brokerage transactions on both the buy and sell side.
Peter began his career in public accounting at Cohen & Company (Cohen) where he worked for several years within their investment industry practice. During that time, Peter became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and was awarded the Elijah Watts Sells Award for his performance on the CPA exams. Peter then transitioned to Cohen’s transaction advisory services team where he performed both buy and sell side financial due diligence for a wide variety of clients across various industries.
Peter currently maintains the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE®) Exam, in addition to the Series 7, 79, and 63 FINRA Registrations through MarshBerry Capital, LLC, the affiliated FINRA-registered Broker/Dealer of Marsh, Berry & Co., LLC.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University. He also maintains the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation.
