
As a Vice President at MarshBerry, Pete Kampf focuses on helping clients create and maximize value. During his tenure at MarshBerry, Pete has advised on numerous large insurance brokerage transactions and established expertise in perpetuation planning, organic growth advisory, and strategic consulting.
Pete began his career in public accounting at Cohen & Company (Cohen) where he worked for several years within their investment industry practice. During that time, Pete became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and was awarded the Elijah Watts Sells Award for his performance on the CPA exams. Pete then transitioned to Cohen’s transaction advisory services team where he performed both buy and sell side financial due diligence for a wide variety of clients across various industries.
Pete currently maintains the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE®) Exam, in addition to the Series 7, 79, and 63 FINRA Registrations through MarshBerry Capital, LLC, the affiliated FINRA-registered broker-dealer of Marsh, Berry & Co., LLC.
Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University. He also maintains the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation.
