Kris Figueroa joined MarshBerry in October of 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for providing leadership and management to MarshBerry’s shared service divisions including Accounting & Finance, Compliance and Facilities & Administration. Kris also works very closely with the management and leadership teams across the company to promote collaboration and partnerships, support companywide key initiatives, provide strategic decision support and aid the short-and long-term goal planning for the business.
Prior to joining MarshBerry, Kris was the Director of Finance for the Clinical Effectiveness business unit, which was one of the fastest growing and highest margin units of Wolters Kluwer’s Health division. There, he lead and supported the P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows and Capital Investments for multiple legal entities and product lines as well as a global and matrixed finance and operating environment. He most recently headed a global and cross functional team focused on efficiency and alignment of back office technology, finance & accounting workflows and other business operations.
Kris graduated from John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting and received his master’s degree from The University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management.
Kris grew up on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio, and now resides in the Akron area with his beautiful wife and four children. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing the keyboard and guitar, as well as drawing and painting.
